History

ZeroDesktop was founded in February 2011 with over five years of technology development ($6M+ invested IPs) with the vision of providing a “one virtual desktop per person” solution to the global problem of users’ digital content becoming “scattered”, and to provide a single place where computer users can simply login once from any computing device using any Web browser to find, access, manage and share all of their files, documents, emails, photos, videos, music and social content.

In September 2011, ZeroDesktop officially launched its consumer website (www.zeropc.com) with users from over 50 countries. ZeroDesktop was named as a finalist in 2012 SXSW Interactive Accelerator Competition in the innovative web technologies category with solutions from Personal Cloud Operating Systems to Cloud Services Brokerage Platform, accessible from Web and Mobile applications. More recently, ZeroDesktop has applied it’s innovative cloud technology solutions to a wide range of corporations including Telecom companies and Hardware & Software companies for partnership, licensing and customer-branded solutions.

In February 2015 ZeroDesktop acquired core technology assets from NComputing, Inc. thereby further expanding the cloud and desktop virtualization solutions.
